VR is well paid and doesn't take that long to learn to do. Shutdown of completely new eclipsed is not that hard and pays okay, shutdown of anybody who knows any psychic combat is really hard and is paid astronomically.

How much does the hair thing vary with culture and time? In our culture long hair for men has been in vogue, and still is in some culture, and short hair for women isn't uncommon depending on the time/place either. How much of a Statement is it for a sub to have short hair or a dom to have long hair?
How does corporal punishment in children interact with the concepts of punishment in a relationship?
Are there expectations about certain jobs and roles that aren't the same as real life gender roles? Like, stereotypically janitors would be male, but that might be coded sub there.
Are precogs time limit in such a way that they couldn’t get a “message” from beyond their limit point?

Hair varies a ton. I'm sure there are cultures where having your hair grown out luxuriously long is a status symbol and therefore a dom thing, having your hair up and in a complicated-ass pattern means you have a sub to fuss with it for you, having short hair means you attend to your dom's needs and don't fuss about your own, etc. Confounding factor here is the men/doms conflation and male pattern baldness (which makes long hair look real dumb), but it's by no means universal, that's a "modern America" thing. It's a little bit of a statement to buck the expectation there, but not a lot of one.
I think it is probably considered customary to have the submissive parent do the spanking to avoid it being Weird in places/times that have major pedophile witchhunt problems, but it's not that much of a thing.
Yeah, coding will not match gender roles neatly. Janitors are indeed probably coded sub. Psychologists coded dom.
Don't understand the question.

Possible interpretation of the time limit question: Say you can see a maximum of five hours ahead, and you resolve that five hours from now, you'll look five hours ahead and write down what you see so your past self can get it at one remove...?

A dom calls their partner their sub, and a sub calls their partner their dom. What if two switches are dating, though, and at times dom and sub the other? And do both of them wear collars?

In Eclipse, two switches dating get offended at the cultural assumption that at all times one must be the handmaiden and the other the feudal lord. They probably respond with that one cartoon about chopsticks.

That sounds like it depends on the type of switches involved. Some switches probably don't like being in between.

An iconic switch symbol/image is two switchs handfeeding each other.

There is no consistent norm about switch/switch couple terminology. I imagine slightly strained use of "partner" has its place here as in our world.
