If by catastrophe or brain shortage or whatever other circumstance, we end up not starting Superluminal for two months, I will go straight to Nightcrawler for Bothari icons. But I think I want a Bothari journal for Superluminal, and I very much desire to start Superluminal sooner than that. XD

Skipping back to Bell-faces: Alicorn, looking through various Bell PBs, I now see what you mean about chinny chins and jaws that do that thing! I think the reason they did not all look similar to me to begin with is that Kristen Stewart's flat, low eyebrows are her most notable facial characteristic to me, and pretty much every other Bell PB has high arched eyebrows. Looking at their face shape and chins/jaws makes them look more similar.

After looking through rosters of kdrama actors for ones with chinny chins and jaws that do the thing who can raise one eyebrow, the best results I've had are Kim Soo Hyun and Taecyeon. Kim Soo Hyun looks more like a male Jung Ryeo Won, while Taecyeon looks more like an Asian Daniel Sharman. Of the two, I think I'd lean towards Taecyeon on account of a slightly jawier jaw and more Bellish facial expressions?

Suraj Sharma has the chin/jaw thing, looks a little like a male Karen David, and makes some Bellish faces? Shah Rukh Khan looks a little like a male Karen David and definitely has the chin/jaw thing. He seems to mostly do pouty faces though. Vivan Bhatena has about the right look (chin/jaw, vague resemblance to Karen David and Daniel Sharman) and can raise an eyebrow, but he's hard to find pictures of.

Don't like Kim Soo Hyun. Tayceon is okay, but his hair seems subtly wrong in some way in the most obvious available pictures and it is not clear that he can do the eyebrow. I don't like Sharma's mouth for some reason. Khan fails the "Alicorn thinks he's cute" test really hard. Bhatena is very tempting but the pictures that crop up are poor quality and if there aren't many to sift through that'd be a real drawback.

I think the fashion among male kdrama actors these days is to have hairstyles that I personally think look really dumb. Apparently he used to have long hair and tie it back? Which I think looks better on him but may not be a style boybells wear.

I swear there was a great picture of Taecyeon doing the eyebrow thing, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Here are some pictures of him doing eyebrow things, but I don't know that any of them are the eyebrow thing... this one is probably the closest I can find to that particular amused/appraising look?

There's a facebook fan page for Vivan Bhatena with more decent quality pictures than I had been able to find previously, but they're pretty much all just the standard "smile for the camera" type of photo. This photo of Bhatena doing an eyebrow thing gives me hope that he might do the eyebrow thing, but as with a lot of them, it's pretty low quality. At this point, I've done a lot of digging and I think there probably just isn't enough material of sufficient quality and range to work with, sadly :/

Some more altrace boybell possibilities: Godfrey Gao (who definitely has the jaw/chin and maybe the eyebrow thing?), Saqib Saleem (who looks kindof like Bhatena but actually has had major roles in recent movies and thus is easier to find pictures of), Solomon Trimble (who generally does not strike me as Bellish, but in this photo he is making a Very Daniel Sharman face so I thought I would mention)

Godfrey Gao is Zevs, though none have come up yet; he's very tasty but he is mostly available only with facial hair and the B.J. Britt excuse won't work. Saleem is - okay. Not "omg so Bellifluous", but if I had a Weird Emergency he'd be it. Trimble's not cute enough.

Kappa: I try! :D I happen to very much enjoy both doing research by hunting through piles of information and connecting people to things they will (hopefully) find relevant/useful/interesting, so "find photographs of people with who meet this list very particular requirements" is a fun exercise. If you are trying to sew and there is a needle in that haystack somewhere, I will be happy to find it for you.

Alicorn: Yeah, I worried that the facial hair might be a concern. I'm glad he's being used for someone though because I agree that he is yummy :P Saleem is not super Bellifluous but so far he seems to be the most Bellifluous South Asian actor available. At least he makes it to "Weird Emergency" status! Trimble is not really Bellifluous at all but that particular grin was just too arrestingly similar not to mention :P I will probably continue the search sporadically, but I think that is all for now.

Where on Earth you find so many cute boy faces?

Mostly trawling through google, google image search, tumblr, and imdb with various different search terms. Before I have names I'll just search for things like "indian actor strong jaw" or "kdrama actors" and look through google image search results and tumblr results until I find someone who looks like they might work. Then I do a reverse-image search to figure out who they are, or sometimes the image is actually usefully labeled, and then I try searching for their names and various things like "Saqib Saleem movie stills" or "Godfrey Gao smoulder" etc. Fan forums are really handy, as are "fuckyeah_____.tumblr.com" sites. Doing things like looking up popular recent TV shows/movies from various countries and seeing who acted in them can also work, as can finding lists of "most X actor" or whatever.

For Bothari: maybe William Fichtner? I think he makes the right kinds of faces and seems to have a lot of roles in vaguely military costumes?
