I was afraid the opacity would disallow further modifications. Would it do that if the target did not want the effect removed?

No, the opacity doesn't interfere with Annie's putting-and-taking thing at all.

(I forget if this is ever addressed in canon) Do the globe and comb interact such that you can astral-project somewhere and then past-listen to something that happened in that place?

I came to this thread to check the Six Artifacts list (and to see if anybody had asked how Annie had come into contact t?with a flower, but that probably doesn’t actually belong here), but re-reading that last bit made me think of something:

If the comb allows past-listening, why don’t we know what the Treaty of the Six Emperors said, at least in broad strokes? Was the language lost or something? Would Annie’s van’s shipment, with its language artifact, eventually fix that?
