(Or, mafia, if there are two of you left and one of you can transfer votes between sides, you have the option of declaring yourselves, coordinating your votes with me, and setting up a 5-3 -> 4-4 vote which gives us a 50% chance to win the game. I like those odds, right now! Not sure if you like those odds, but if you do than you should do it before you lose someone on your side.)

Okay, to clarify what I just said so I don't just come off as being insulting for the sake of being insulting: The role jalapeno_dude just described is a distinctly Bastard Mod role, and while those can be plenty fun, I'm not sure they're the best choice for the first game on a particular forum.

Then again, I was given incredibly vague statements about possibly having a power in my role PM, so maybe all bets are off?

I also want to clarify that I'm conveying some mixture of surprise at both the roleclaim and the subversion of the normal "informed majority vs uninformed minority" aspect of the game, without which I'm not sure the game we're playing is mafia at all.

Well, Serial Killers are an actual fairly common role, effectively being a second informed minority team with size one (some games have even had two full anti-town teams with multiple members, often called "mafia" and "werewolves" in "vanilla" games). They're also generally made incredibly obvious, because two kills will happen, if not the first day, then almost certainly the second day. To have one be present and not obvious (to the point of never making a successful kill) is the weird thing here.

Edit: Especially in a game that already has a second anti-town team in the form of Chelsea.

So you get to try to kill people in addition to roleblocking? Is kuuskytkolme not voting because you paralyzed her for the day?

Wow. That is very surprising!
My suspicion list now reads JALAPENO_DUDE, Paradox, Thatwasademo. In that order. I don't think either of the other two I think might be evil are actually more likely[/] than an admitted killer to be murderers. So I'm keeping my vote as is.
Also, I'm guessing we probably won't hear from kuuskytkolme this round, and I think everyone else has voted to kill jalapeno_dude, except jalapeno_dude, who voted to kill Paradox.
@jalapeno_dude: Are you informed if you try to kill a fellow serial killer? Also, no I'm not sure, why did trying to kill kuuskytkolme not work? Is it because michaelblume was protecting her or what? Also, why was Alphabeta able to do stuff on the days after you said you targeted him?

Oh, and Aestrix. You targeted her on the same night she died too.

Oh man, if that was the case and I hadn't realized it until now, I'd be pissed.

Because I wasn't an active killer? Even if I was, I wouldn't have been stupid enough to kill modrony after arguing with them--looking through my PMs, I planned to kill andaisq if I was active (which, again, I wasn't).
