I would just like to mention that having a Save Draft option for replies is AWESOME.

<3 Thank you Anya! Any site requests?

Glad it helps! I sometimes feel bad I don't have a save draft for posts, but privacy=Private is basically the thing for now.

I have added both "larger unread buttons for mobile" and "actual mobile layout in full generality" to The List.

Updates:
- Boards in the Mark Read / Hide dropdown on Unread will now be alphabetical
- Many thanks to teceler and ilzolende, who helped me locate a CORS issue with image uploads. I have updated my CORS policy to allow http:// as well as https:// and hopefully image upload issues should be reduced now.
- I blocked the old style /post/:id?reply_id=:id link format for search website scraper bots; at least one seems to have had it cached.
- Throne extended our rel=canonical SEO improvement to all /post links as well as /reply just for safety's sake
- Icon view page is significantly upgraded, I am very interested in UI/UX feedback
- You can swap both characters and icons now, and both have a filter-by-post option
- Not actually a site update but it was a Patreon request that I start glowficcing again, so I'm doing my best :)

Current list of Patreon requests in no particular order, patrons feel free to ping me with additions:
- Change the default layout to be Starry Light
- Have the option for only-opened-threads to be your default Unread page
- More sort/filter options for the Unread page

I personally am much a fan of being able to see how many times icons have been used and where, so thank you! It's also very convenient (potentially handy for the future?) to be able to replace icons filtering by threads, and in fact likewise for characters.

I'm not sure, but on the icon show page (e.g. here), the icon box might be slightly too narrow? It looks good on mobile, imo, but feels like it should be another 20% wider or something on desktop. (Also on mobile it'd probably be convenient if the links wrapped to the side of the icon, and the data below, since it already wraps large tables down to below the menu – see this page on mobile, for example.)

But otherwise, yep, I am personally a fan of this change.

Request that seems like it should be super easy and would be really helpful, at least for me: the characters page can be manually toggled between icons/list mode. It would be super helpful to be able to do the same for "templates" and "galleries." The functionality all appears to be already there, since you can switch your default view, there just isn't a button on the other two pages.

Slightly more advanced version: it would be even better if you could also manually set individual default viewing modes for "characters," "templates," and "galleries." (Maybe just have it remember which mode you last had each on?)

(I always want to view "templates" in icon mode and "galleries" in list mode, and it's really annoying to have to switch my default any time I want to open one of those two pages.)

...
....you know, I swear I triple-checked before posting this.

One day I will catch out the time-traveling tech support. One day.

[18:30:52] <Throne> hey Lin how are you doing for effort
[18:31:08] <RoboticLIN> >.>?
[18:31:14] <kappabeta> I genuinely cannot, I was up until three in the morning last night and can't into executive function rn
[18:31:18] <RoboticLIN> I will do a cheap job for lack of interest.
[18:31:26] <RoboticLIN> Probably copy+paste.
[18:31:27] <Throne> thank you Lin?
[18:31:31] <RoboticLIN> Sure why not.
[18:31:33] <Throne> thank you Lin
[18:31:36] <kappabeta> copypaste totally suffices
[18:31:37] <kappabeta> thanks lin
[18:31:39] <Teceler> thank you RoboticLIN

[18:22:57] <Teceler> a way to mark partial tags
[18:23:31] <Throne> Iii had an idea ages ago for a checkbox of "this is a tag" that is by default checked
[18:23:36] <Teceler> like, we can work around that by saying when a tag is complete, if there are multiple characters posting
[18:23:38] <Throne> and forgot about it
[18:23:56] <Teceler> but I have on multiple occasions had to go 'hey is this a tag' when the other person isn't on irc
[18:24:01] <Throne> nod

[18:24:04] <kappabeta> Where would the checkbox appear?
[18:24:15] <Throne> I think that was one of the reasons it was not implemented, yes
[18:24:17] <Teceler> on the post dialog I assume
[18:24:34] <Teceler> probably along the line of buttons that is post/preview/save draft?
[18:24:43] <Teceler> possibly on the right hand side
[18:24:45] <Throne> yyyes probably?
[18:24:48] <kappabeta> If it was on the reply thing *and* the edit thing, that would work
[18:24:56] <Teceler> yes it should be on the edit thing too
[18:25:00] <Teceler> in case you forget to the thing
[18:25:03] <kappabeta> But if only on the reply thing then you have to know ahead of time and that's not always the case

[18:25:18] <Throne> should it only appear on the latest reply's edit box…?
[18:25:27] <Throne> like what if you're editing a reply halfway through the thread
[18:25:31] <Throne> presumably should not appear then?
[18:25:48] <RoboticLIN> ... A note for like "I am still tagging do not reply yet"?
[18:25:59] <kappabeta> It might make sense to have it not be attached to specific replies at all actually?
[18:26:39] <kappabeta> Like, when you are the latest poster in the thread, you have a button or checkbox or something that says "hold it, I'm not done fucking with this yet"
[18:26:46] <Throne> so like a manual "tag!" thing, plus an automatic-on-posting or -editing (but can be turned off manually)?

[18:27:06] <RoboticLIN> How about a checkbox on post that hides the replybar like "join this thread" but it says "Still going hang on"?

[18:27:34] <kappabeta> When you have "hold it" on a thread it's in your tags owed and not the other person's
[18:28:03] <kappabeta> Hiding the reply bar is a cute idea
[18:28:51] <Throne> does somebody want to suggest this in the Constellation thread…
*Everybody does not want to. Refer to the top lines.*
TL;DR: A button to hit for "I am making multiple posts/editing do not reply yet Author 2"

This was somewhat confusing and I'm not sure which of the suggested implementations was preferred and I predict Marri will want to wait for us to settle on something agreeable before implementing anything.

For what it's worth, it seems like the best way to make everyone happy here is replacing the "Post" button with three buttons:
- Post: posts a thing but the thread remains in that author's tags owed;
- Post and tag: posts the thing and tags;
- Tag: posts nothing but makes the thread appear in someone else's tags owed.

The edit window would likewise have "save" and "save and tag"

I feel as though replies that are not near the end (e.g. if you go back and edit a reply for a typo) should probably not include 'save and tag', but I'm not sure what the decision-making process should be for whether it displays the 'save and tag' option or not – maybe any of your most recent string of replies? Or maybe don't restrict it at all, and just assume people won't be using it to tag with really old replies? (It's not like that would be bad, I don't think, just perhaps bizarre.)

Otherwise I think that works.
