I didn't want to post this in public because privacy but also because I *am* mafia and I think "I have offline stuff going on" is fair but guilting people into not voting for me when I'm guilty is ethically wrong.

I am pretty sure Paradox is the demon, but we can't afford to nightkill them if I'm wrong because it ruins things for Tamien and it might not even help (we don't know when the demon is in the night action resolution order).

I have made a mugcake and eaten it for breakfast and I'm going to make some coffee and go through Paradox's posts and make a case in public.

I'd link people to show that I make gigantic wallposts as town on mafiascum too but I'm using a different username over there. I'd PM people the username but I suspect that even if I CC'd Alicorn it'd be against the rules and I understand why those rules are there. But after this game is over and before the next one starts, I'll offer to PM people my username over there if I want to compare my meta across games.

Okay, looks like no one figured out my hints. This is probably an illusion-of-transparency thing.

First, I am Saasnil. I do not get to cast spells, because spells are not a thing (at least for me).

Second, because I am Saasnil Paradox isn't. I conclude that Paradox is Mafia. Either Mafia were not given safeclaims in this game, Paradox didn't include their safeclaim in the list, or, what I think is most likely, Paradox's safeclaim is in fact in the list but they got overambitious and we were able to rule it out (either it was a dragonish and Paradox didn't know about dragon tanking powers or it was Eryn and Paradox threw in the part about Rhysel not anticipating Rhysel would be killed so quickly).

I couldn't have reached this conclusion if it hadn't been for Tamien's roleclaim, and I didn't think to go back through the roleposts until earlier today. I think it is now clear that roleposts are a BAD THING for both Town and Mafia.

If my logic is correct, and I think it is, I am 100% sure that Paradox is Mafia (they could also be possessed, but that would have happened only recently and they certainly *started* the game as Mafia).

So, I vote for Paradox.

(I still think it's more likely than not that Shoal is mafia, but I wasn't 100% sure of that even before they posted. I am now *significantly* less than 100% sure, though I suppose a mafia!Shoal could have voted for Paradox to try to split the votes between multiple Mafia. The point is that Shoal *might* be Mafia. Anyone *might* be mafia. Hell, *modrony* could be mafia and playing some incredibly deep game I don't understand. But Paradox is *definitely* mafia. Kill them.

thanks. I'm really sorry guys. I'll try to make the most of the rest of this day. I think we still have a good chance of winning this even if I am mislynched. Probably making it come down to the coin would be best. I am really hoping Paradox shows up to provide a distraction so we can lynch them cleanly.

I've posted my case on Paradox now. Going to skim the thread in chronological order to see if I need to retract any of it (I said they were never the first to cast suspicion on any particular slot and I think that's true but I'm not 100% sure and I think being willing to double check will get me some towncredit).

I'll post a case on Anthusiasm too. The conclusion of that one will be on-the-fence probably because I'd like her to not use her ability so that we can nightkill her.

preview-edit: what about: taala, jensal, finnah? or is because didn't mention the dragon powers for finnah/jensal? but what about taala? is taala a dragon too?

Yep, Taala is a dragon(ish). And I said this in my analysis post earlier today

Paradox: claims in their rolepost they are describing their own real power, so I can throw out the dragons (I had to look it up, but Taala is a shren->dragon) because they failed to describe their kill-soaking powers

which is my (correct :p) excuse for throwing all of those roles out.
