Oh, I was interpreting "gooey" as "sentimental" there. That makes more sense.


On a completely unconnected note: if I were hypothetically to need the in-universe name for the letter 'M' in the language of the goldmage setting, would you have thoughts on what that might be?

I'm not sure I'm even committed to Cefaxi using a phonetic alphabet.

I think often languages with non-phonetic alphabets have stand-ins for phonetics? Iirc, Chinese has some standard character-to-sound mapping that they use to describe how to pronounce words in text. (Not that this actually helps you come up with something, just to say that in such a case Em could be named something relating to some such character.)

Alicorn requested I notify everybody that she spilled milk on her computer and it is fried and so she is presently without means of producing glowfic but not dead or anything.

I have a satisfactory loaner and will be looking into acquiring a permanent new computer if mine won't boot up once it's definitely dry.
