It was common-and-estabilished scale that was good enough to give some "feel" for the setting powers (I also get the impression that few-to-none gifts are in Witchcraft levels)

Well... we have Healers (that I going to guess) and "Chronice Condition Healers", do we have Ravelers that can do both healing types?

Okay, good.

No ravelers can both heal acute injury/illness and chronic conditions, they're different things and the first is more common.

What is the size of a building that a Raveler can make?

There's no hard cap, just energy cost.

I am trying to guess a cost/benefit cost here, to see if it is better to create buildings bit by bit so the raveler doesn't have to pass out for four days or something.

That portal thing is something that a ravel-artificer could actually do? Or just a sandbox thing? Have you thought about using it for multi-story sandboxes?

I just invented it as a way to get Shara somewhere without More Portalsnakes.

I don’t remember the portal thing; was this in the box with Adarin falling in love with Kithabel or a different one?

You say that ravelry is fast, and Shara said “I'm pretty sure [Chelasi] could have, if she needed, pulled hard and fast enough on those threads she was knitting to have someone previously about to run her through catch her before she passed out from the effort”. Is it possible to work more slowly, to spread the tiredness out? That would obviously be a bad idea in this particular example, but could help when making an artifact.

If Chelasi is as powerful as that quote indicates, how are the twins able to not be as sad as Anlon? I have the feeling that if you had told Zev all this without killing Chelasi, she would have killed her herself; had Chelasi just not worked that hard on them?

Can we see more of this setting?

The portal was in the shortlived box with an Ari in the universe whose name I forget with the rampant upsetting mind control.

No.

Anlon has genuine underlying feeling for her and no principled objection to the ravelry.

Maybe.

I was using Anlon-as-seen-in-thread as a benchmark; I wasn’t asking why they did not all have the same reaction. Neither twin, post-rescue, seem like they would bother catching Chelasi if she collapsed in exhaustion from raveling, and Zeviana seems like she would gladly run Chelasi through a few times. Do they not like her as much as she could have made them in an emergency, or what? The attacker in Shara’s hypothetical also knows Chelasi’s ability, so it isn’t just that.
