I think that Bluelantern is saying that Bell-Bell kids seem like incest, which… I can see why it would register as such, but I really don't think that applies. If that's not the reason for being “more-than-okay”, what is?

Yup

I understand that it isn't incest, but it makes me uncomfortable enough that my preferences fall on the "don't do it" side... I would still read the story if it was done, I just don't desire for that to happen.

Whereas incest makes me less uncomfortable than it does the general population, so even if I partially saw it as incest instead of just noticing the analogy I still probably wouldn’t mind. Instead, I just see it as “these people would get along and be good friends, and could easily become more than that” (especially before they themselves know about alts). I’ve always been more of a “like attracts like” person than an “opposites attract” person, anyway.

I'm impressed this discussion's gotten this far without the Stark twins coming up. xD

I would like to point out that I am only really uncomfortable with alt+alt having kids.

Arcane was originally no particular template but he's retroactively a Sherlock. Kappa wants to put one in the Effulgence Visitorverse but prefers to make that Arcane a girl, which wrecks the ship, unfortunately (Promise is disinclined to be unstraightened).

There are no plans in the works for Bell/Bell pairs to have kids, but they don't have a particularly aversive reaction to the idea.

Technically the reason I wanted to make her a girl was Lucy Liu, so if I found an acceptable boy alternative for Lucy Liu I could just do that. But I have not yet found an acceptable boy alternative for Lucy Liu.

I find it amusing that both baby-not-Phix and Flicker ended/paused their sandboxes browsing in a magic library.

I think that if there try to be two Arcanes then one of them is instead a Tony.

Ivan looks astonishingly like Cat Max when he does this.
