The Tesseract does not have access to any uninhabited universes.

Yeah i think that is now up to Bella whether or not she considers that to be the case or not.

I believe the word you and Ozy’re looking for is “symmetric”. Transitive only becomes relevant if there are more than two people involved. I am also not spoilering any more now; people have had a chance to catch up.

Yes, marriage usually is symmetric. But there is nothing usual about this situation, and it is made more complicated by using the word “marriage” to mean both the state of having had a wedding and/or filled out legal paperwork, perhaps with some combination of other prerequisites like loving each other (Bella’s culture) and the state of having a soul bond (Lúthien’s culture). One of those things doesn’t exist, and one empirically does exist but only in one direction. By the soul bond definition, Lúthien is empirically married to Bella and Bella is empirically not married to anybody (and it would be impossible for her to become married, and much more impossible for a dwarf to become married). Bella’s culture’s concept of marriage is fuzzy enough that it’s up to Bella whether or not to consider that a marriage, but I wouldn’t have expected her to without at least some wedding party or paperwork. Hence, why I was confused originally about what they were and were not telling Bella’s parents.

I am incredibly, outrageously delighted at how thoroughly Daevinity's canon's getting fleshed out by multiple glowfic authors. Edie was the demon summoned with Cam for translation! The Furniture Incident is a major historical moment and Sonata has a potential summoner for aforementioned Furniture Incident angel! It's really cool and I'm really pleased.

For some reason Nick is telling me he's VERY DEFINITELY NOT WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT the one who let slip there was a new summoner about.

A number of these groups of Noldor have gotten themselves alternate-world printing presses, and at least one Fëanor has a typewriter. I wonder if any of them are going to be printing enough to upgrade to a Linotype?

(Linotype machines are cool in a number of ways, but one is being able to type on a keyboard to assemble your lines for printing.)

It's probably obscure enough that it'll happen offstage if at all.

Matilda’s encyclopedias probably mention them, so I assume so.
