It looks like the Wild Magic is happy with its Bell, and left more informative reviews than other BEEs tend to. None of the other Bells I know of singularly enchanted a village.

I’m glad that this God can hear prayers directed at saints or the Virgin Mary. Now I’m wondering about a Teah in this world, though.

What sort of jeopardizing of the souls en route to Heaven would be possible by intercepting the dimensional transport? Would they be in danger of ceasing to exist, going to Hell instead, becoming ghosts, being captured, becoming lost for a while before they made it to Heaven, or what?

Depending on what kind of interference, they wind up in your universe of choice for a sandbox.

That does sound plausible, assuming that some mortal probably-whites can exist in this universe and die at just the wrong time, and that Maggie would be fine with that.

On a different note, why is Miranda fine with the Hat literally reading her mind and potentially communicating that information with professors? She seems to consider it to be at least potentially a person, with how she addresses it, and it hasn’t shown much discretion about student conversations anyway.

I think I already answered that somewhere. She doesn't think of it as being a person, though, or she'd have problems with it spending most of its time shut up in an office with nothing to do.

...Well, now I'm just imagining What If The Sorting Hat Was A Template-Cousin Of The Downside Admin.

Winding up in Universe Of Choice For Sandbox: plausible in the same kind of sense that tears/gates/whatever from random worlds to Fairyland are: it wouldn't happen in canon but it's a plausible enough extension that it works for boxen

"... That is interesting," he observes. "Found a person that thinks hurting people is fun. Same person that very strongly doesn't want to hurt anyone. I don't know what to do with that, but it's interesting."
Oh look, a Chainsaw

I wasn’t sure it was a Chainsaw; that fits a few of purples. Some Jokers, maybe some Stevens but I don’t know them as well, some JokerSherlocks probably. I wouldn’t even be surprised if a Nadia could qualify in a few cases. Chainsaw was still my best guess.

A Nadia might qualify for the enjoyment of hurting people in some extreme circumstances and after a whole lot of trauma, but I don't think one could at the same time desperately not want to hurt anyone.

....

Now I am trying to think of examples where that could happen.
