I did a full regenerate of everything on the site, so all the broken images should be fixed now (I think any flat page updated before we moved to the asset pipeline for icons would've been broken). Look okay now? Added an issue for the feature request.

I was explicitly requested to not notify upon import; perhaps when we feel the Vast Majority is imported we can revisit, but yeah, that's a looooot of emails xD

Right now there's list of posts, mostly but not perfectly optimized, then content warnings for each, plus all your opened and unread data very not optimized, and the post author list also not optimized. Caching should probably occur.

Your related theory is probably right, and may in fact mean that the entire flat post for everything is stored in the one swish and flick post; I'll reenqueue the rest when I have a minute.

Alerts do take visibility into account; I will contemplate on this edge case. It may end in me building an actual notification system instead of abusing messages like I presently do.
